Featured: A Body of Work
An installation of ten ceramic vessels, each created from a portion of wet clay totaling the artist’s body weight at the time of making. After drying, firing, and glazing, weight 21.5% less en masse. The collection reflects transformation, loss, and material agency, offering a visual an d physical meditation on the body as both object and process.

Comprised of 109 wheel-thrown ceramic bowls whose combined volumetric capacity equals the artist’s body volume at the time of making. The bowls and the negative spaces they contain offer a collective representation of the artist’s physical bodily volume and the empty space displaced by its presence.
